reDiscover Hindley Posted on - Tuesday, November 12, 2013Re-discover one of Adelaide's most famous streets at this free family-friendly event on Friday 15 November.
The fun kicks off at 5.00 pm when cars will make way for event goers, stalls from traders in the precinct and South Australian wineries, bands, roving performers, and Illuminart.
Come and rediscover the iconic traders of Hindley Street and explore the new bars popping up all over the precinct and support South Australian business. The event will celebrate the diversity of Hindley Street and surrounds and will feature stalls from partner restaurant and bars including: Cos Restaurant, Bollywood Indian Restaurant, Barbushka, Chihuahua Bar, Zambreros, Four Doors Plus One, The Apothecary 1878.
Entertainment will include bands such as the Bearded Gypsy Band and The Levitators, there will be parkour demonstrations by Point A throughout the evening, and activities for children including a cartooning workshop by Robin Tatlow-Lord. The Sammy D Foundation blog-a-van and the Encounter Youth Green Team will also be there, promoting positive messages to young people.
